Milo vs. the Yarn

I have introduced the 2 other furry animals that live with me (in my life you do have to classify animals vs. furry animals ;o).  The first picture is Nola.  She was found 2 winters ago on the engine block of one of the trucks outside on a bitterly cold night.  She weighs in at 4.5 pounds.  Next we have Milo…I adopted him when he was 4 months old during an adoption drive by the Humane Society.  His nickname is Fat Cat since he weighs in at about 15 pounds.

There is something I would like to share about Milo…he adores yarn!  He can get it out of just about anything and he goes crazy with it!  Too prove my point, here is a pan out of the picture above:

Milo vs the yarn

Doesn’t that yarn look a little familiar?!?!?!?!  It should, it is my new sock yarn for my class…thank god I still have enough to finish the socks!  What is a little bit of yarn compared to the love of a cat (even if said cat acts more like a dog)?

Thanks…before I found Nola I wasn’t a cat person, but she transformed me! I have always been a sucker for animals and when no one else wanted to take her I couldn’t imagine taking her to the vet, so I decided to keep her until the next time my sister from MA. This didn’t happen for a few months and by that time I had fallen in love!
